Stourport Canal Basins Volunteer Programme
Volunteer Photographer
Volunteer Task Description
Volunteers are required to take photographs of the Canal Basins and of the people taking part in our events and activities. Photographers will be required to supply images for publicity and promotion of the restoration project. This is a great opportunity to see your work in print as we may use images on our website and in our leaflets and publications. Photographers would be required to get people in each image to sign a British Waterways photography consent from.
Volunteer Person Specification
An enthusiasm for photography is essential. You do not need to be a professional photographer to volunteer as a photographer on the project – amateurs are welcome and encouraged. However, good camera and picture taking skills are desirable.
Commitment Required
We require volunteer photographers primarily for our events programme. Events will take place during selected weeks / weekends throughout the year. We would welcome any volunteers wishing to help out for as little as an hour or as much as the whole day.
