14 October 2010 Melvin Angell Bees in Crisis A local beekeeper talks about beekeeping and the current crisis in Britain’s bee population.
11 November 2010 Will Scott Organ Transplant at St Swithuns.
Will Scott will explain the background to the restoration of a unique eighteenth-century organ.
9 December 2010 Julie Tomkin A History of Canal Art
Ever wondered where “roses and castles” came from? An illustrated talk looking at the history of different types of Canal Art.
6 January 2011 Festive Event Our usual buffet with wine and some activities to test your local knowledge. (Members only)
10 February 2011   Meet The Planners.
An opportunity to hear what is being proposed for Stourport by local planners.
10 March 2011 Paul Allen Local Bog Life.
 A local countryside ranger will describe the variety of wildlife to be observed in local bog sites.
14 April 2011 John Hodges John Corbett & Chateau Impney.
An illustrated talk about “rags to riches” salt king, John Corbett, and the house he built for himself at Droitwich.
12 May 2011 AGM A members-only meeting with guest speaker.
16 June 2011 Vince Williams Mountain Rescue.
Vince will talk about the role played by Mountain Rescue and relate some of his exploits.
14 July 2011 Chris Gibbins Liverpool: King John to the Beatles. Civic Society member, Chris, will provide an illustrated journey through the history of his home city, Liverpool.
