Assessors' comments :
A beautiful house, with a simple symmetry and some very fine details, which has been carefully restored and thankfully continues to be properly cared for. An excellent example to all. We considered this worthy of an Award.

Nos. 5 and 7 Lombard Street received a Commendation.

Stourport Civic Society Awards 2000 - Comendation

Nos. 5 and 7 Lombard Street – refurbishment and creation of two self-contained flats over the shops.

Assessors' comments:
This project was considered worthy of a Commendation and is an excellent example to others to follow. There are plenty of opportunities for this type of project in Stourport which will bring life back to the town centre and make better use of empty upper floors. In particular the careful reinstatement of sash windows shows what could be done for the rest of the terrace.
